The following dates have been approved by the Sefton School Board of Trustees.

2024 School Calendar Dates as followed. 

Term One 2024 

Tuesday 30th January - Community Meet the Teacher Day 

Wednesday 31st January - First Day back at school for all children through to Friday 12 April

Waitangi Break - Long weekend - Saturday 3rd to Tuesday 6th February - Monday 5th February school is closed and Tuesday 6th February is Waitangi Day. 

Easter Break - Good Friday 29 March through to Easter Tuesday 2 April (please note Tuesday 2 April school is closed)

Term Two 2024

Monday 29th April through to Friday 5th July 

King's Birthday Weekend -Saturday 1st June through to Monday 3rd June. 

Matariki Weekend - Friday 28th June through to Sunday 30th June. 

Term Three 2024

Monday 22 July through to Friday 27 September 

Mid Term Break Long Weekend - Friday 23 August through to Sunday 25 August (Friday is a Teacher Only Day, Monday 26 August a teacher only day)

Term Four 2024

Monday 14 October and Thursday 19 December

Show Weekend - Thursday 14 November through to Sunday 17 August. 

Please note the Ministry of Education have awarded two teacher only days for 2024 that are not yet in the calendar.  We are considering taking one of these days in Term Three for the Mid Term Break.  We will advise you as soon as these dates are set.
