Elise Power: Elise, you are such a star. Everyday you demonstrate our Sefton School Values. You are kind, caring and considerate of others and always helpful. You demonstrate resilience across all your learning, sticking at tasks even when they are challenging. I really love the way you can reflect on your learning too. On top of all this, you are always respectful. Thank you for being a great role model within our school.

RESPECT -Manaakitanga

Mary Winter: Mary you are such a kind, thoughtful and considerate person. You are always respectful to your teachers and to your peers. You listen carefully to others and are always willing to help. You demonstrate our Sefton School value of respect every single day.

Sadie Farrell:Sadie, you are considerate and thoughtful of others. You always display respect for teachers and your peers. You continue to help other students both in their learning and you are able to work with your peers with respect. You display our Respect value throughout your school day.

Penny Ward:Penny you show respect-manaakitanga in all you do. You are flexible and you are able to adapt and work with any of your peers.You are there to support your friends if required. Penny you think ahead in your learning and or any issues that might be of benefit in our akomanga-classroom. This is reflected in your learning progress. Thank you for being such a focussed and considerate person. He kōtiro koi koe?

Grace Collins:Grace, you always put you best foot forward in all you do. You show great respect to your classmates, fellow students and staff at Sefton School. You are a role model for the juniors with your kindness and thoughtfulness. Great Work!

Alexis Williams: Alexis you demonstrate our respect value all the time. You are respectful of your classmates and the teachers. You are thoughtful and kind to your friends, quietly helping them out if you can. You are focused and motivated in everything you do, always doing your best. You are very polite and a pleasure to teach.

RELATIONSHIPS - Whanaungatanga

Lily Fleming: Lily you are a caring and kind friend to everyone in our classroom and on the playground. You join in with others and include people in your games. You are always with others at play time- whether it is tag, rugby or on the playground you are showing our relationship value to a 'T'.

Nickson Dellaway: Nickson, you constantly display our Relationship values throughout your day. You are kind and considerate of other students and will always help when required. You include others in your groups and are able to work with anyone. Well done.

Jack Clapshaw: Jack it has been a pleasure to watch you grow in how you interact positively with your friends. You are building on your skills of whanaungatanga. You are able to play fairly in sport and in games and it is cool to see you support others that need a helping hand. You are always respectful to your teachers and we appreciate that. Jack your smile can make a grey day turn to sunshine. Tino pai tō āhuatanga. Well done!

Mace Reed: Mace, you are a positive and supportive friend to others at school. You try to make sure that others are included both in and out of the classroom, and often offer help to those in need. You participate whole heartedly and fairly during class games and encourage others to do the same. Keep up the great effort!

Bailey Rae: Bailey Rae it has been awesome to watch as you have built relationships across the school and have made so many new friends. You are kind and caring and always include others, treating them as you'd like to be treated. You are always polite and cheerful. Pai te mahi.

RESILIENCE  - Manawaroa

Saskia Svensson: Saskia, your resilience in your learning has grown so much this year. You are putting your best effort into all of your learning and are thinking about your progress and next steps. You are always ready to have a go at a task or skill and excited to learn something new.

Millie McConachie: 

Millie, it has been fantastic to see the way you have settled into Sefton School this year. You are demonstrating that you are can be focused on your learning and it has been fantastic to see you really beginning to push yourself with your learning. This has come about by your ability to stick at tasks and keep working on tasks even when they are challenging.

Holly Ryan: Holly you are diligent and focused in how you approach your learning. You bring an intelligent, imaginative perspective to classroom discussions. Your quiet personality is a veil for the steely determined person that lies beneath. Gaining 1st place in the Kowais cross-country event for the year 5 & 6 year group is evidence to your grit! Mīharo Kē. Congratulations Holly.

Katie Borcoskie: Katie, this term you have met every learning challenge with a positive attitude and have surpassed your own expectations multiple times, this is a testimony to how resilient you have become. You have made great progress this term and I hope that this resilient determination will carry you through the rest if the year.

Mabel Dawe: We are so proud of you and how far you have come since starting school. You are trying so hard and have such a positive attitude to all your learning, which is reflected in the great progress you are making. You are managing yourself and taking responsibility for your belongings, your behaviour and your school work. Ka pai.

REFLECTION- Whaiwhakaaro

Ernie Iddles: Ernie you are always thinking about your next steps and how you can do a task differently or in your own way. You reflect on the progress you have made and the work you have done each day. You think about how you can improve and ask questions when you're not sure. You always try your best and put in your best efforts.

Sam Schaffer: Sam, I have been really impressed with the way you are using your Reflection value this year. You are using this across our learning in the classroom and with other situations that arise in your school day. I have been really impressed with the way you are thinking about how you can solve problems before you ask for help.

Elin Hurley: Elin you illustrate Manawaroa -reflection in every aspect of your school life.You are thoughtful and respectful when others are sharing their views. In turn you will offer support if you identify a need. You go the extra mile in meeting your learning goals and this has resulted in success for you.You engage in feedback and use this to clarify your judgements. Keep up your fantastic attitude Elin. Joe Stringer:Joe you have had great success this term and have embodied our reflection value. This term you have proven to be a very reflective learner. You have taken feedback on board and have used it to reflect and improve upon your work and actions. I look forward to seeing how you keep developing this value throughout the rest of the year.

Charlie Corr: Charlie your ability to reflect and grow everyday in your learning is a credit to you. You are very thoughtful and caring towards your friends and classmates.
