A fun way for some Year 8 students to turn the tables, and take the role of kaiako.
Some Year 8 students completed an exciting journey by taking on the role of the teacher with their buddy reading class. Their mission was to plan engaging lessons that used imagination, hands-on skills and creativity. They created lesson plans, and models and resourced all their materials. They focused on making learning fun and interactive.
Throughout the process, students practised patience and offered encouragement, supporting their buddies and having fun along the way. It was great to see our Tuakana take on the role of kaiako!
