Kia ora koutou,

Welcome to the end of the fourth week of Term Three. As mentioned at the beginning of the term, this is an especially busy time of year.

I am pleased to say that the overall tone of the school is really settled. It is a real pleasure to show visitors around the school and for them to pop into classrooms with our students engaged (well, most of the time) with their lessons. We are a far different school from 2023 and will continue to focus on improving all aspects of what we do.

We are keeping a close eye on the progress of our senior students as we head towards the business end of Term Three. Our aim is for all students to have the opportunity to gain NCEA. Lots of our students have the motivation and ability to do this. They just need to keep focused and ask for help if they are experiencing difficulties.

Term Three has been a busy term for our athletes across many, many codes. It is so good to see a significant number of students involved in sport and an increasing number of teams making semifinals and finals in a range of competitions. As always, none of this would happen without the support of the community, parents, staff and supporters that are such an integral part of our school.

Keep a close eye on the Te Aroha College Sport Facebook page - that is the best way to keep up-to-date with what is going on.
