As we farewell Diana Jager in this newsletter, I thought I would share some of the work that she has done with our International Students, especially the groups that visit us.
New details are emerging about how the Government and Ministry of Education are going to support schools to improve student attendance rates. Whether you support these measures or not, there is no question that those students that attend regularly do much better socially and academically.
As we celebrate the end of Term One we are entering a period of change.
The end of Term One, 2024 is the end of an era for Peter and Diana Jager and Te Aroha College.
A big thanks to Manawaru Sands and Richard Cornes for donating us with such excellent top soil, including delivery! Such generosity and fantastic service. Many thanks to you Richard. This will help our akonga to develop their skills in farming and help make learning more interesting.

Year 13 students had an out-uniform day on Friday 12 April.
Term Two is looking like another busy term for us. While we try and give as much notice as possible events we also try and respond to what is happening as well.
It is with great pleasure that I can confirm that Peter O'Leary is our new Deputy principal, replacing Peter Jager. Peter O'Leary will start at the beginning of Term Two.
