Twelve Year 13 students got involved in the Waikato Leadership Academy university course this year. On Wednesday, the 17 May, we presented our first university presentation in front of other schools from around the Bay of Plenty. Following this, we had the opportunity to hear from different speakers to learn more about setting personal goals and leading others in a shared vision. It was an incredible experience to be involved with, and we all took something new away to improve our leadership style. We can’t wait to continue learning new skills in preparation for our final gathering at the Summit Day!
