YEAR 9 ART

In Art, we have been experimenting with different techniques such as stencilling, dye, washes and layers, sgraffito, and modelling paste investigations. These techniques add texture and depth to our work.

For our final painting, they had to be A3 in size, and we also had to choose a minimum of three different techniques. I decided to include stencilling, gesso layering, sgraffito, and modelling paste to add texture, as these were my favourites.

I wanted my painting to have a centrepiece that stood out and a focal point that was different to my background.
