Last week, we formally introduced our 2025 prefect team at a whole school assembly, marking the beginning of an exciting new year at Tauranga Girls’ College.

Each prefect has worked incredibly hard to earn their role, consistently demonstrating the school values of Mahi Tahi, Mana Motuhake, and Manaakitange through their dedication, actions, and commitment to the wider school community. The prefect team is led by head prefect Maia Poutawera and the seven deputy head prefects, who presented the prefects their committee with their prefect badges.
