An excellent pre-season Basketball Tournament was held in Rotorua Friday 30 April to Sunday 2 May. The tournament attracted entries from Rotorua, Hastings, Tauranga, New Plymouth and provided a great opportunity for TGC Prems and Juniors to get an indication of our present playing level and where we need to be, to contest the season ahead. Great to see both teams finish in top 4.

TGC Prems finished 4th. This team showed strong glimpses of their potential and the challenge is maintaining a high intensity level for an entire game. Lots to work on but all improvements are achievable as we work towards our goal of qualifying for Nationals. Congratulations to Bethan Adkins, Kamryn Paul, Moui Veikoso, Skie Parata, Isla Russell and Mia Quirke on your debut with TGC Prem Basketball.

A big thank you to all the whānau who watched and supported our TGC girls, it is really appreciated as is the support from our school.
