RYPEN Weekend Camp

Coco Williams and Mia Corney —

We both think the RYPEN camp was a challenging, fun and social learning experience that we would recommend to any upcoming Year 10 students.

We made some close connections and friends which made the trip so much more exhilarating. We really appreciate that this camp taught us some valuable life lessons from guest speakers and instructors.

We continue to reflect on how this has impacted our view on life and how we go about our day to day lives. We had some incredible camp leaders there with us that really made the group of us work as a team.

We took part in team building in forms of mind activities, working on challenges that involved the whole group, intense games, etc. We both had a blast using the rock climbing wall, it used strength and will power that challenged us in different areas. Other activities we enjoyed were swimming in the freezing water hole, the high ropes, the trampoline, spotlight/games in the dark, and sleeping in our tarpaulin hut we made out in the woods!

We absolutely loved this camp and we both appreciate and commend all the people who made this camp happen.
