Seventeen of our senior tennis players travelled to Papamoa for the Senior Bay of Plenty Championships. It was perfect weather for tennis, bright, sunny, and warm, with a slight breeze. Our girls played many games, and it was great to see their confidence with scoring and tennis etiquette progress positively throughout the day.

We gained some excellent results.

Division 1 singles 

- 1st Daniella Daniel - Daniella completed the whole tournament with straight wins. She is a superb up-and-coming player to watch.

Division 2 Doubles 

- 2nd equal -Tori Hill and Bri Lewitt, and Ella Hill and Summer Bailey

- 3rd - Mia Corney and Nicole Power
