Our Year 9 Art students created this collaborative installation during our recent whanaungatanga time.

The girls chose their own flying creature, bird, butterfly etc, and learnt how to make it using origami techniques. There is different symbolism surrounding this project in particular the origami crane is a symbol of peace. The girls did a fabulous job and the birds look amazing hanging in the tree.
