The day for our Junior TGC Tennis championship started off with blue skies and sunshine! We had 26 of our finest Year 9 and 10 social tennis players participating.

Everyone played at least three games throughout the tournament. There was a lot of laughter, and even superb Christmas spirit! We had Christmas carols and some fabulous tennis playing Santas and Xmas trees, and a couple of lost Chiefs players! All of the competitors were great sports, and they played enthusiastically, even though it was hot and tiring. There was a downpour just before lunch which kindly stopped in time to allow us to finish off the tournament. The results were:
