Week 4 saw the final Rising Hibiscus get together for the year. This, in conjunction with the Pasifika Homo Haia homework club, wrapped up what has been a fantastic year of participation and fun for many of our Pasifika and Māori students.

During the Rising Hibiscus breakfast we had a prize giving to honour a number of our students, in terms of leadership, attendance, alofa, sportsmanship and dedication.

Congratulations and thank you to all recipients and to everyone who participated in our community this year. This includes the students, teachers, guest speakers and the Pasifika in the Bay organisation who play such a key role in supporting us with many hours spent preparing kai and sharing their happy smiles! 

We are looking forward to our Pasifika group continuing strongly next year.
