On Saturday 02 April we had seven girls compete in the New Zealand Secondary School Open Water Swimming Championships held at the Mount.

Arianna Roberts, Niamh Manning, Tatum Havenga and Jade Schumacher competed in the 2.8km race which was around Rabbit Island and Leisure Island. Arianna had a great race and placed 3rd in the 14-15 category gaining herself a Bronze medal. In the 1250m race we had Lily Pearce, Rosie Kneale and Tetsani Thompson.

The girls all competed well and placed in the top 10 in their age categories which is a great achievement.
