ATHLETICS is a great sport. Due to COVID restrictions it is slightly different this year with only those students participating in traditional events are able to attend.

Welcome back to school everyone, time to get excited for our first school event of the year!

Students participating will head down to the Track at the Domain and smash out a day of traditional events and some fun activities. Each House is encouraged to continue the fabulous dress up theme. Participation points will also be collected for your house, as well as placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

Athletics Day Information:

Tuesday 15th February

Meet at the domain for 9am unless need transport the meet at school bus bay for 8.20am but need to inform sport@tgc.school.nz if you need transport.

ONLY students who have entered to participate will be going to the domain to compete. All other students will be at school as normal school day.

Traditional Events: Students participate in their age group.

Junior: Born in 2008, 2009

Intermediate: Born in 2007, 2006

Senior: Born in 2005, 2004, 2003

Entries have all been collected and athletes will be sent an email to remind them of the details and a copy of the timetable for the day.
