We are currently working on the ‘My Trip’ module in our SPEC class.

 As part of this we had to plan EVERY LITTLE DETAIL about the trip. Things like: what we needed to take, where we wanted to go, price, how we are going to get there, email enquiries, what to wear, administration tasks like permission forms and booking the school van. So on Monday 15 June, we went Ten Pin Bowling. We played two games and had loads of fun.

Our next adventure was off to the Historic Village. This was part of our ‘Crafts’ module. Our particular task was to visit a crafts market. There were many different types of crafts to look at - jewellery, paintings, sewing, animal plates, moth brooches, harakeke weaving, a gigantic whale hanging from the roof, ceramic leaves and wooden structures.

It was an awesome day.
