Judy Shin, Anya Apanui, Hannah Park, Maddy Sherwood, and Lucia McCormick attended the Bay of Plenty Secondary School (BOPSS) Golf Championship at Lake View Golf Course in Rotorua.

Luckily the weather cleared as we drove to Rotorua, and we had a dry day, perfect to be spent on the green. The course was in superb condition, with terrific views over Lake Rotorua. A full field of young golfers brought healthy competition to the championship.

Judy and Anya played in the 18-hole Championship, where two scores are added together to get a total, and the best score (or smallest number) wins the top place.

Hannah, Maddy and Lucia played in the 9-hole Ambrose Competition, winning some gift vouchers.
