TGC —

One of our notable Alumna is Dame Susan Glazebrook who attended TGC from 1968-72 and is now a Supreme Court Justice.

You may have seen her in the news recently as president of the International Association of Women Judges she is fighting to get Afghan women judges out of the country, to safety.

Check out the article below to read more and celebrate in our proud association with her. #tgcalumna #tgcschoolofchoice #womensupportingwomen

Congratulations to the 2021 recipient of the Jann Medlicott Creative Arts Scholarship - Ellie Smith! Ellie is pictured here receiving the award from Acorn donor Jann Medlicott at our Morning Tea event earlier this week.

A former student of Tauranga Girls College, the scholarship will assist Ellie as she completes a Master of Arts in Museum Studies at Massey University. Ellie told us, "I am incredibly grateful to Jann Medlicott and the selection panel for this scholarship, which will be a massive help for the remainder of my studies."
