We had 10 students represent us proudly at the NZSS Swimming Champs.

Over the four days there was various events that our girls competed in and swam really well. We also had the girls doing a total of 11 relays between them, covering every relay. The competition was strong with a large number of competitors, up 40 in some events.  

Special mention to our medal winners Keira Allott and Laura Thompson. 

Keira (age 16 category): 
1st in 400m freestyle
1st in 200m freestyle
1st in 200m Individual Medley
2nd in 100m freestyle
3rd in 100m Individual medley
3rd in 200m backstroke 

Laura 3rd in 100m butterfly (age 16 category).

Our girls who got in the top 10 in their events include; 

Lily Pearce in 100m butterfly
Jessica Pilbrow in 200m breaststroke and 50m breaststroke
Jade Schumacher in 200m breaststroke
Katie Hills in 200m breaststroke 
Trelise Chote in 100m backstroke and 200m butterfly
Charlotte Gilbert in 100m breaststroke
