Our Golf Team played in the JJ Mānihera Golf Tournament held in Kawerau. It was a beautiful day out on the course, and our golf team played exceptionally well.

Three Tauranga Girls’ College players played 18-holes: Tania Ellis, Anya Apanui and Eungyo Na. They completed their rounds with a combined Stableford of 105, which gave them third place in the team's event.

There were eighteen teams from a range of kura around our region. Anya Apanui received the second top Gross score, and Tania Ellis received the third top gross score. We also had two players that competed in the nine-hole competition; Maddy Sherwood and Lucia McCormick. They both played well and received a prize.

Congratulations to Y10 Anya Apanui who came fifth at the Waikato Age Group Championships in the Under-16 category.
