The Textile & Fashion design senior students put on a fabulous fashion exhibition of their talents recently to whānau, showcasing their incredible talent and diverse and exciting creations.

It was an intimate evening to enjoy students' work while nibbling on delicious canapé while taking in the show.

Bernina Tauranga pre-judged the students' work, and prizes were kindly provided to our winning students to acknowledge their outstanding workmanship.

The evening was so successful that we intend to make this evening an annual event on the Tauranga Girls’ College school calendar.

Bernina Sewing Centre Tauranga owner, Robyn Curd, posted incredibly encouraging comments on their Facebook page stating she was very impressed by the high level of workmanship from these Year 11, 12 and 13 students and asked the question, ”Could you make this when you were in College?”
