On Tuesday 23 February TGC had 11 girls compete in the Bay of Plenty Triathlon Championships. It was a fun day out for all the students.

There were three teams in the U16 event. The team consisting of Jess Pilbrow, Ella Webb and Taimana Randall came first female, TGC 1 finished 3rd female team (Eve Flint, Neva Roy and Bree McTavish-Huriwai and not far behind in 4th was TGC 2 (Nicole Power, Niamh Manning and Briana McNaughten). In the U19s we had Morgan Overington and Sarah-Jane Stone. These girls both had an excellent race with Morgan finishing first and Sarah-Jane second.
