Megan has just completed her B.Mus (Hons) in classical guitar at Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music and is off to Adelaide University in 2021 to complete her M.Phil. Megan's love of classical performance started as a Music student at Tauranga Girls’ College.

Megan was a competitor in the NZ Classical Guitar Competition in Wellington early in December and was awarded first place in the open division. 

Megan is the first woman to win this national competition and we are incredibly proud of her achievements.

Megan has received masterclasses from some of the world’s leading guitarist such as Ingrid Riollot, Martha Masters and Gary Ryan. This exposure to international artists has sparked her interest in completing postgraduate study abroad.
