A team of 13 students represented Tauranga Girls' College at the BOP swimming competition on Tuesday 30 March.

Students in the team were Keira Allott, Shaeli Brewer, Sarah Cumming, Izzy Faulkner, Hayley Fowler, Eleanor Gilbert, Tessa Harvey, Katie Hills, Niamh Manning, Lily Pearce, Jessica Pilbrow, Laura Thompson and Charlotte Webb. 

The team gained an outstanding set of results. All six of the relay teams were placed either first or second. 

Students placed first in individual events included:

Keira Allott (100m/200m Freestyle)
Shaeli Brewer (50m Butterfly)
Katie Hills (50m Breaststroke)

Further results included 11 students placing second or third in their event. Several students were also very pleased with Personal Bests in their respective events. 

The team was very appreciative of the parents who gave their time to help with officiating at the event.
