TGC Premier Football team captained by Rachel Collins and Paris Allum had a great start in day one of a BOP football tournament hosted at Bethlehem College.

The first game at 9:30am Tues 1 September against Bethlehem College was a great start with a 3-1 win. The second game was a little closer but also a 1-0 win against Whakatane College. The third game at 3:30pm ended the day with a 3-0 win against Te Puke High School, with some very stylish goals by Rosa Atkins, Emma Browne and new season player Phoebe Hawes. The team had a lot of fun and played well as a team. 

Day 2 was another exciting fine day and we came up against Katikati College with a win, then beat Papamoa College 4-0 and went on to the Final for 1st and 2nd against Bethlehem College which we won in a hard fought contest 1-0. Congratulations TGC Premier Football Champions for the Bay of Plenty Tournament.
