There were 11 teams involved in the Exchange with Hamilton Girls' High School on Tuesday 29 June

Another early start for our Badminton, Basketball, Debating, Football, Hockey, Netball and Rugby teams as they got on the bus to head to Hamilton on a cold winters morning. We arrived and were welcomed by HGHS with a whakatau. The day started off very wet giving our Netball Juniors, Hockey Juniors and Footballers some tough conditions to play in but they battled the weather and played well. The Hockey Junior A team won and the Netball Junior A's just missed out by one point. Football team were winning the first half but HGHS snuck in some goals in the second. 

The conditions eventually improved throughout the day for the rest of our teams to get their games underway. Congratulations to the Senior debating team and Badminton girls who won. HGHS are a very tough competition and got the most wins overall making them the winners of the shield. 

A day of great competition for our girls and they should all be very proud of their grit and determination. Also they represented the school with pride and respect.
