On 02 and 03 July, TGC’s Underwater Hockey composite team competed at the Secondary Schools Regional Tournament.

Despite the fact that being a composite team meant they could not go to Nationals, the team put on a fantastic performance. They came 5th overall with some spectacular wins against Diocesan School for Girls and Epsom Girls’ Grammar School. Even though Tauranga Girls’ College didn’t manage to get a full team this year, it was wonderful that players from a range of Bay of Plenty schools could come together and represent Tauranga at this tournament.
