Our three Dance troupes took to the stage for the first competition of the year on 15 May holding their own against strong studio dance troupes.

All three troupes received highly commended awards with some great feedback from the adjudicator.

Jazz Troupe

The judge commented on the great song choice and enjoyable choreography with great onstage/off stage flow and good group work. She felt this piece had lots of potential.

Hip Hop Troupe

The judge commented on the great energy and attitude from everybody, the simple and effective costuming, and awesome choreography.

Contemporary Troupe

The judge commented on the effective start, great costuming and on and offstage flow with the use of exits and entrances.

Special acknowledgment goes to the following student leaders/choreographers who have invested hours of time this year choreographing, teaching, and perfecting their pieces for the stage:
