In Term 3 all seven New Zealand Universities and Toi Ohomai sent Future Student Advisers to support rangatahi plan their papers and courses for 2023.

Danielle Handley and Lucca Toomey met with Amber from Otago University and had the following comments to make. Both really valued the individual one on one support

Danielle found the course planning session very helpful because it meant she could look at different options if she decided she didn’t want to study a double major, as she originally planned. ‘It also helped me when deciding the papers through all the semesters, so that I am able to have the right workload.’

Lucca said ‘I found the planning session extremely helpful because I wasn’t too sure what other papers I could take that weren’t part of my double degree. It can be confusing. I also valued planning out the two semesters, so I know exactly what I’m up for. We also discovered an error in my application which Amber could sort out on the spot.’
