It was an amazing three days watching our U17 Tauranga Girls’ College Volleyball compete in the inaugural Playaz Tournament in Otara. This team was a selection of players from our Junior A and Senior Volleyball teams. Consequently, watching the juniors' development over the three days and the leadership offered by the seniors was outstanding. The team proudly finished second, and a special congratulations to Atiata Iteraera and Brianna McNaughton for being named in the ‘All-Star 6’ Tournament team.

The team would also like to give a special thanks to Ms Belworthy, Ms Blythe, Mrs Jones and Mrs Wright for making this tournament a success.
