All Year 9 learning classes have been working on their COLLABORATION, CREATIVITY and CRITICAL THINKING by undertaking various technology challenges.

These have included: building an unsupported cantilever bridge, raising a flag, constructing a pikau (backpack), making a windmill and more.

Today, 72 students, six from each class, had 90 minutes to construct a ball-grabbing device AND a tall tower that could also support a heavy weight. The students were fabulous! They worked so hard, challenging themselves and supporting each other.

The winners were:

Ball-grabber: 9RGT

Tower challenge: 9MWN
