Winter 2021 is a very exciting time for Tauranga Girls’ College, with the introduction of new uniform pants. After a three year planning and consultation process, the Board of Trustees is proud to announce the official TGC navy winter pants will be available for sale from 28 June onwards.

The arrival of pants as a uniform option has been eagerly anticipated by the Tauranga Girls’ College student body, who have been keen advocates for greater choice in uniform. 

 “The pants are super comfortable and warm. I find it much easier to forget that I’m in uniform, as wearing them feels like something I’d wear outside of school.”  Annabel Robinson, student

Having a diverse range of uniform options has been something Tauranga Girls’ College has striven for over the past few years, with the introduction of the TGC navy shorts in 2019.  Adding long pants to the Tauranga Girls’ College uniform is another step towards making the uniform more inclusive.

The TGC navy winter pants will be available for $99 from Stitch By Stitch, 10 22nd Avenue, Gate Pa.
