On Wednesday 10 August our three Badminton finalist teams from the WBOP tournament played in the BOP Champs.

 The draw was difficult as our top team consisting of: Anjali Pilay, Suhird Bhullar, Paige Rickard, and Alana Sio, was placed in Division One. These girls played some extraordinarily difficult games with scores coming in at 21-19 against us! No-one gave up throughout these tough matches, and this team managed to get a very respectful 4th place.

Our two Division 3 teams also had some close matches. It was great to see their confidence growing as the day progressed. Our team consisting of: Ashleigh Spice, Ruby Jones, Eden Brown and Daniella Daniel came second and gained a well deserved silver medal.

Our other Division 3 team consisting of: Tetsani Poroa-Thompson, Kanwar Chahal, Trelise Chote and Isabelle Whalen, came 4th. 

Everyone gained competitive Badminton experience and will be sure to improve even more next year.
