New House badges have arrived, just in time for the start of the new school year.

A key part in the revisioning of our Houses was to create a House badge for all students to wear, feel connected to their House, and be proud of.

The badges were specially designed using the poutama pattern, and feature the House name and House colour.

The poutama pattern, often seen in tutukuku panels, symbolises the journey of knowledge. Each step in the staircase represents learning, achievements and challenges. Always striving upwards to be the best we can be.

All students will receive a House badge. While the “red setting” restricts our plans to present badges at House assemblies, our House Leaders will create a plan so all students will be given their badge in the near future.
