On Monday 2 August the TGC golf team played in the Eagles Secondary Schools Golf Tournament.

This tournament is organised and funded by the Eagles Association to encourage young people to play golf. The Eagles fundraise so they can provide lunch for everyone and provide prizes for the winners. Tania Ellis, Judy Shin, Maddy Sherwood and Hannah Park were all present at the tournament which was played at Te Puke Golf course. Tania Ellis played extremely well and won the best gross score with a 79 off the stick and received a golf shirt as her prize. An enjoyable day of golf, with beautiful sunny weather.
