How wonderful all of our Year 13 ākonga looked at the 2022 Tauranga Girls’ College Enchanted Garden Ball!

Saturday 24 September saw the TGC Hall decked out in greenery for the Enchanted Garden themed ball. Students and their ball partners had a wonderful time dancing and spending time as a senior cohort in the beautiful garden setting.

Everyone looked stunning in their gowns and suits, some of which had been handmade by our TGC Textiles ākonga.

Student Sarah Dixon says “after all our hard work, in derived grade exams and for a few of us, making our dresses, it was a lovely night in which we were able to come together as a cohort and celebrate the year. It really was a milestone achievement that everyone will be able to remember for the rest of our lives.”

An enormous thank you to Ms Robyn Mankelow, Mrs Jane Finnimore, Mrs Jessica Rejthar, Ms Anna Larsen, Mrs Megs Ryan and the TGC Ball Committee for all of the hard mahi that went into creating such a special evening.

Overall, a fantastic time was had by all who attended. The ball was such a lovely way to end the term and enjoy what was for many, the last few weeks of their TGC journeys.
