On Friday 21 May the four TGC Junior Competitive Badminton Teams competed in the Western Bay of Plenty Championships.

TGC Blue were in a combined Division One/Two grade and our other teams were in Division Three. All teams played some great badminton and represented the school proudly. 

Even without any representative players, which is the usual prerequisite for entry into Division One/Two, TGC Blue were super competitive and ended up placing 2nd overall. This was an outstanding effort. 

TGC Blue and TGC White have both qualified through to the BOP Championships, which is scheduled for Term Three.
