At the celebration held on Thursday 15 October the following students received Special Awards for Recognition and Contribution to the Arts:

Junior Contribution to the Arts: Rizzy Saludez
Awarded to a junior student for being involved in more than one area of the arts as well as being reliable, courteous and a helpful member of the school community, but not necessarily the “best” in their chosen fields but just might be.

Claire Robinson Trophy: Morgan Barrimore
Awarded to a student who not only sings, but acts, dances and simply embraces the joy of performing.

Māreikura Taonga: Talia Ingham
For a humble woman who gives strength to support others to excel in the Arts.

The Supreme Arts Awards acknowledge those students who are at the pinnacle of their cultural careers while at Tauranga Girls’ College. These awards celebrate and recognise the outstanding achievement, participation, contribution and leadership of these students while at this school.
