Each Tuesday the 9DTM class time is dedicated to investigating issues, awareness and solutions around real world problems.

This term we have seen a team enter the EPRO8 engineering/ programming competition (finishing a creditable 7th): we have travelled to Hamilton for a visit to the Galileo exhibit, the Hamilton Gardens and the Te Awamutu Space Museum: and we are investigating issues of personal interest, some of which we will enter for the Young Innovator Awards.

Future-focused skills are a priority, and as part of this, students have written their own reports reflecting on their strengths and progress in the areas of collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking.
