Ms Middleton and Miss Bridge have really enjoyed celebrating books and reading during this past week.

We’ve had a range of activities over the week. Charades on Wednesday lunchtime was great fun with staff and students battling against each other for the win. It was a close game but in the end, the teachers took home the prize.

Reading challenge bingo and the spine poetry competition have been ongoing for a number of weeks. The spine poetry in particular was a great hit with 54 entries from both students and staff. They will be judged Week 5.

Various English classes joined in, coming in to create spine poems and bookmarks as well.

On Thursday lunchtime Miss Bridge ran a craft activity making mini origami books and on Friday, Ms Middleton and Miss Bridge came to school in book character costumes, celebrating the end of a great week.
