With alert levels changing we have been incredibly thankful to complete our Basketball season with both the Junior and Senior Premier teams making the TCBA elite finals in their respective grades.

Our Premier girls had a very close and intense game against Mount Maunganui College. The last two minutes of the game going back and forth between the two teams being ahead. Nail biting stuff till the last seconds with TGC taking the win by 56-55.

Congratulations also to the TGC Junior A  team who won their final, beating Trident and crowning them Champions of the Junior A division. 

It was a great season for all Basketball teams. Unfortunately our Premier girls couldn't end it with their National tournament but hopefully next year. 

On behalf of everyone involved in Basketball at TGC, we’d like to say a huge thank you to the coaches, management, staff and whānau who have supported our girls throughout the long season.
