How common is exam related stress?

90% of young people faced with an exam feel nervous. This is not necessarily bad as long as the exam stress is good and not overwhelming.

What can students do the night before an exam?

Get a good night’s sleep. Help synthesise your learning by going through notes for the last time.

Is cramming for exams helpful?

Last minute cramming is not good as the brain becomes too stressed.

What should they do the morning of the exam?

Eat a healthy breakfast. The best brain for the task ahead is well rested, well fed.

Be early and stay away from others who are stressed. It can be contagious.
