Our Year 13 Physical Education students, and Year 13 Sport and Recreation students, headed over to Rotorua for the Tough Guy Tough Girl Mud run event.

Prior to Friday 26, the day of the event, there had been a lot of rain so the course conditions were perfectly muddy! The course included mud runs, obstacles, water runs and some really challenging hills! There was sporadic rain throughout the event. All of our students, bar one, completed the event. 

Our school came 4th overall out of the girls teams. Our top three runners, Mikayla Price, Ella Ryan and Tiarna Allen, all gained Excellence for Achievement Standard 3.4.

It was such a fun event to have trained for and even better that most of our ākonga gained 4 NCEA credits along the way.
