During Week 7, Tauranga Girls’ College welcomed an American University Lacrosse Team from UCLA Davis.

Our visitors were treated to a wonderful cultural experience by the Ngā Kōhine o Mereaira representatives, who showcased their talents in a Whakatau. As part of their welcome, they enjoyed light refreshments before joining our Level 1 and 2 Sport & Recreation students for a Lacrosse Workshop on the field.

Our students enjoyed sharing time with our visitors and learning about an unfamiliar game.
