The kura participated in the World Vision Challenge by completing a continuous walk around the backfield. Staff and students wore their house colour wristbands and walked as many laps of the field as possible in the 40 minutes of lunchtime.

It was wonderful to see so many staff and students out there participating in this event; not only were they raising the profile of the World Vision cause, but they showed their support for all the mahi this amazing worldwide charity does. They earned a house point for every lap - double points for all the fabulous staff who joined in too!

The World Vision Team also raised funds through a sausage sizzle, with our local Gate Pa New World Supermarket sponsoring 600 sausages!! Thank you, Gate Pa New World, for your generous support!

The winning house was Sheppard, with 188 laps completed, with Te Auetu a close second with 184 laps!
