Tania Ellis, Year 12, played three tournaments over the holidays. She came 17th in an open category at the Ruth Middleton open in Matamata. Tania followed that up with 4th place in the Waikato age group, playing in the U19 category as a 16-year-old. She also managed 7th place at the Tieke Stroke play competition in Rukuhia.
