On Thursday 30 and Friday 31 July, groups of Year 12 Tourism students travelled to Rotorua to experience New Zealand like it once was from the top of the forest canopy with the amazing team at Rotorua Canopy Tours.

Students were able to experience for themselves what it takes to be a tour guide in New Zealand and were able to learn more about the impact that ecotourism has on the physical environment. Swinging through the treetops was an added bonus with many overcoming their fears and developing confidence in themselves with the aid of the highly trained guides that kept everyone safe, smiling and learning all at the same time.
