On Thursday 23 June the BOP Indoor Bowls Championships was held in Mount Maunganui. 

Three of our students represented TGC at this event. It was a singles only event this year so a lot of great competition for our students and the first event for most of them this year. 

Chloe Edwards made it through to the Semi Finals, Jas Neale into the qualifiers and Sophie Denham just missed out on making it into the qualifiers.

Great work by everyone and they are looking forward to competing in the North Island Secondary Schools that are coming up at the end of July. This will be both a singles and pairs competition and we wish them the best of luck.
