Pathway Planning Evening 2021

TGC —

Nau mai, haere mai whānau! On Thursday 29 July Tauranga Girls’ College will be holding the 2021 Pathway Planning Evening from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. This evening is an opportunity for whānau and rangatahi from Year 9 to Year 12 to come into the kura to discuss with TGC staff and tertiary providers their subject choices and pathway planning for 2022 and beyond; considered and informed choices are the best to make!

Each Learning Area will have a display in either the Hall, Music Department, Performing Arts Block, or in D Block. Tertiary and careers providers will have information stations set up in the school library. Come along and kōrero with subject specialists on the Tauranga Girls’ College staff as well as representatives from tertiary and career providers: The providers are yet to be confirmed but may include:

  • Police Force
  • Toi Ohomai
  • Auckland University
  • Canterbury University
  • Otago University
  • Waikato University
  • Etco (Electrical Trades)
  • Page and Macrae
  • NZ School of Tourism
  • Face and Beauty
  • Queenstown Resort College
  • Kia Ora Haoura

A welcome message from our Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl of Learning will start the evening at 5:00pm in the school hall. For those who arrive later student ambassadors will be available to assist with questions and directions.
